Double Twist Lift Danielle and Steve Hartsell / Detroit SC These pictures show takeoff and air positions for a double twist lift. The entry position and hand holds are similar to the loop lift, except that in a twist lift, the lady rides an LBO edge then picks with her right foot just prior to takeoff. The man releases the lady in the air, and she rotates one or more times (she may execute a split prior to the turns). The twist lift shown here is a double twist with split. No matter how many times the lady rotates, the man rotates a half-revolution and catches her before she lands. (double-click either
