Preliminary Competition Elements

Jumps	Max of 5 jump elements (no double Axels or triples) one must be Axel- or waltz-type jump at least 1 jump element must be combo or sequence (max 3)
Spins	Max of 2 spins of a different nature (min 3 revs)
Steps	1 step sequence utilizing half of the ice surface
Notes	One jump combination may contain 3 jumps, the remaining are limited to 2 jumps. The number of jumps in a jump sequence is free. No double jump or Axel may be repeated more than once, and if repeated may be as solo or in combination or sequence (the max number of any particular double or Axel is 2). No more than 2 different double jumps may be repeated in program.

There is no Preliminary SP defined in the Rulebook. Preliminary skaters are not eligible for Qualifying competition.
