Junior Men Short Program (SP)

Jumps
  • Double or triple Axel
  • Double or triple Lutz (2008/9) from footwork [seasonal]
  • Jump combo with (double and triple) or (2 triples)
Spins
  • Flying camel (2008/9) spin (8 revs) [seasonal]
  • Sit (2008/9) spin with only 1 change of foot (min 6 revs/foot) [sit (2006/7)] [sit (2007/8)]
  • Combo spin with only 1 change of foot, and all 3 basic positions (sit, camel, upright or any variation thereof) (min 6 revs/foot)
Moves 2 step sequences of a different nature (straight line, circular, or serpentine)

  • Layback or sideways leaning spin (min 8 revs in position)
  • Combo spin with only 1 change of foot, and all 3 basic positions (sit, camel, upright or any variation thereof) (min 6 revs/foot)
Moves
  • Spiral step sequence (serpentine, circular or oval, 2 circles, 2 serpentines, or a combination of 1 circle and 1 serpentine)
  • Step sequence (straight line, circular, or serpentine)

Junior Well-Balanced Freeskate (FS)

Jumps Men: Max of 8 jump elements; Ladies: Max of 7 jump elements;
  • one must be Axel-type jump
  • at least 1 jump element must be combo or sequence (max 3)
Spins Max of 3 spins:
  • one must be spin combination (10 revs)
  • one must be flying spin (6 revs)
  • one must be spin with only one position (6 revs)
Steps Max of 1 step sequence (moves in the field should also be included, but are evaluated as transition)
Notes One jump combination may contain 3 jumps, the remaining are limited to 2 jumps. The number of jumps in a jump sequence is free. Only 2 triple or quad may be repeated, and if repeated must be in combination or sequence (triple and quad with same name are considered different jumps).
