Miscellaneous Information

Rules Changes as enacted by the Apr 29-30 2011 Governing Council are described on the 2010-2011 Combined Report of Action. The interesting stuff starts with items #77-83 (pages 15-17) on Adult elements, then with #116 (page 28; Open Juv age), continues with Dance changes #117-128 (pages 29-36), then starts Freeskate/Singles rules at #134-151 (pages 37-41). Skaters competing this Spring/Summer should note that new elements were approved for the well-balanced program track. These elements (well-balanced program) take effect June 1, 2011. However, even though the test requirements for many levels change effective June 1, 2011, the test track competitive events do not take effect until September 1, 2011 (summary now includes links to new USFSA elements sheets).
